This past Friday, Klesis headed over to Tillman Park in Alameda for some sports and BBQ. After a long week of school and work, it was great being able to let off some steam playing frisbee.
After everyone was tired from that fun game, it was time for the second-best part of the night: dinner!
Those were some good burgers (even though they were a bit salty).
It was starting to get pretty cold, so we all bundled up and headed over to Jean’s place. Once we got there, we had some time for DT sharing and reflecting on the lives of Saul, Jonathan and David.
Afterwards, we had some more sports time: the first ever indoor volleyball tournament, complete with playoffs and first-round byes. Basically, it was like King Kong Shower except 10 times harder. It was still fun though, and it was especially fun to hear people try to set to themselves and spike.
But on to the tournament! After an undefeated regular season and a postseason victory, one team arrived in the finals with a 4-0 record. Yeah, that team was pretty pro, and my team got destroyed oh well. Congrats to the first ever indoor volleyball tournament champs!
Congrats again, and hope you can all join us next time!
