SUP Getaway to Beautiful Sierra Lodge

This past weekend, the sophomores, juniors, and seniors in Kle3 drove up to a place near Tahoe called Sierra Lodge, a lodge that the Gracepoint Berkeley Church staff built by hand from the ground up! It was a relaxing two days and perfect opportunity to unplug from the world and enjoy the beauty of the nature around us. Some of us went hiking on a trail that our church members created while others stayed back at the lodge to get some studying done. I don't know how much studying was accomplished, but the trailgoers sure had a lot of fun enjoying beautiful vistas! All together at the lodge, we ate ramen and a variety of late-night snacks, told scary stories, had some music and rap jams, spontaneous dance parties, and of course, Bible study! To end the stay, we played Dessert Iron Chef, with different teams. The teams competed in silly games to win special ingredients and avoid terrible ones, resulting in one team victoriously possessing a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and another team unfortunately possessing an onion. The resulting desserts were mixed, to say the least, but there was one clear winner! (Neither of those teams won.) It was a cozy time all together as we enjoyed two days of pure fellowship and fun! We'd love to have you join us on the next trip!
